My best friend for 2 days.

A couple weeks ago we had a service auction for an Institute activity. I didn't know what to auction off as my service. Some people told me to auction off a date but then I'd feel way cheap if no one bid on me or if i sold for like 2 dollars. So I used my imagination and decided to auction off a service to be best friends with someone for 2 days.

The more canned food you brought the more funny money you got to buy someone's service. & then we donated the food to Echo food bank.

I'm glad to say that the winner of my service is my dear friend Steph. This weird boy was trying to buy me so my friends all pitched their money together so Steph could buy me. I'm proud to say that I was the highest bid of the night haaa.

I had to dedicate a post to my new best friend cause what kind of friend wouldn't do that.

UH oH

Last Saturday I got to babysit this little one...

Livy likes to play with phones as I found out. So being the nice Aunt that I am I let her play with mine. In the mean time she managed to put my phone on lock. Yeah usually you think no big deal right? Just unlock it when she's done playing... This time no.

My friends Lacie and Charlton used to play this game where they take my phone and change my password to make me mad so I can't use my phone. However they would always unlock it for me so I could use it when I go home, but they would never tell me the password.

After Olivia locked my phone I called Lacie on Megan's house phone to ask her for the password.
Lacie: "Umm Charlton was the last one to change the password sorry..."

Great! Charlton is on a mission in FLORDIA! (just my luck)

After about 1 1/2 hours of playing with different passwords I figure it out. Thanks for practice for password hacking liv!

Coke or Pepsi

We all have our personal favorites of what drink we prefer. Personally I prefer Coke. Well my grandma on the other hand prefers Pepsi. She has always been a Pepsi woman.

On certain occasions I will go up to Dairy Queen and get my grandma and I some lunch and she always asks me to bring her a medium Pepsi. Well Dairy Queen doesn't have Pepsi products so at first I would stop at a gas station on the way home and get her a Pepsi. This got tiring after a while, so I decided to try out something...

Instead I just got her a coke from dairy queen to see if she would notice. and she didn't! So I kept doing that every time. Today I did that again and when I brought her it I asked her how her Pepsi was. She went off telling me it was good and how Pepsi has always been her favorite drink. I just laughed inside..

I would've noticed if someone did that to me, but I don't think its wrong if she doesn't notice do you think? :)

Halloween!!

For halloween I went to a dance that the Single's ward had. My sister Megan told me to be a nerd. So I was a NERD!

My costume consisted of:
1. high water pants
2. un-matching socks
3. suspenders
4. jump drive around the neck.
5. buttons not matched up on my shirt with pens in pocket.
6. two watches (don't ask just thought it sounded good)
7. ugly sweater
8. kick me sign on my back
9. uneven pigtails, i used lots of gel in my hair to add to the nerd effect.
10. last but not least glasses with tape in the middle.

I felt a little retarded showing up to the dance since most girls were princesses or cheerleaders or something to that effect. But no not me! I'm not like most girls I didn't go for cute, I went for ugly.

The dance was fun though. The good thing was I could dance however I wanted and could be retarded because I was a nerd and thats what nerds do.

We played this fun game where you get a partner and they rap you with toilet paper until you're covered (like a mummy). Unfortunately I didn't win. (That's me there on the right)

I usually don't like dances or halloween but it was a fun night. The real surprise was I got asked out on a date!

Who would've thought that me as a nerd would've attracted someone. hmmm its a mystery to me. Probably because he just got home from his mission 5 days ago. He needed a 1st date and knew the nerd wouldn't turn him down. haha thats probably it.

All Time Low Concert!

On Monday a couple of my friends and I went to a Concert in Albuquerque. We saw All Time Low, Mayday Parade, The Maine, & Every Avenue. They were pretty much amazing.
The line was pretty long to get in and we got pretty bored.
hah Lacie and some famous cases.
We barely got in the theater in time to see the last song of the first band Every Avenue.
Next up was one of my favorites The Maine.
We sat up on the balcony most of the time since it was pretty crazy downstairs but this ^ picture is of Lacie and I at the bottom pushing our way up as far as we could go. Lace has a white hat and I'm right next to her.
Mayday Parade was awesome too.
Crowd sufing anyone?
Finally it was All Time Low! They played my favorite song of theirs so I was way excited when they played it.
All in all it was the best concert ever!

Alpine Slides

A couple months ago Lacie and I took a little trip to Durango Mountain Resort to try out the Alpine Slides. Although we only got to go down one time because it started raining, it was a lot of fun!

Sorry for my screaming and my not so very good camera skills. It was quite hard holding the camera while sliding at the same time!

Some People's Kids

I have this weird thing I do. I like to take pictures of crazy people I see in public and send it to my friends. The hard part is trying to take a picture of them with out them noticing and looking at me funny. Its quite embarrassing when that happens because I've had it happen before.
Well this guy here makes it on my list of why the heck would you go out in public looking like this.
This was in a hotel lobby somewhere in Utah I believe. We saw him when we drove up to the hotel and was afraid to go in because of him. I was laughing so hard when I was trying to take the picture. Although this picture doesn't do him justice, you get the idea. My favorite is the lady in the background looking at him, just can't take your eyes off him.
Although we didn't stay at that particular hotel that guy made my night. I'm just mad at myself i didn't get his number. haha

I've found my perfect man

After 20 years of searching I've found the perfect man for me. Almost everyone knows him and likes him. He is very rich and what girl wouldn't want that. He never argues with me when I tell him to do something or that I want something. He always has a smile on his face. Even though he may not say it often I know that he loves me very much.

Although there are some downsides to it... I don't think my parents will approve. There is quite a bit of an age difference so therefore I don't think he'll pass the physical test that my brother in laws have lined out for whoever I choose, I don't think he'll be able to hit a softball or shoot hoops with the guys. Maybe it isn't true love after all.

Although I thought that we looked good together. I guess I'll just have to keep searching for my perfect man..

Conference Trip

This weekend I had the opportunity to go to General Conference. It was a way cool experience. It was also a lot of fun! The conference center is so HUGE! I kinda wasn't supposed to take pictures. opps...

before. But don't worry we were sleeping before the talks, not during!

Afterwards we went to this huge house in Park City. It was
the cabin to former CEO of Dell computers, Kevin Rollins. We toured the house and it was amazing. Too bad I didn't get more pictures, It would've been a little weird going around to take pictures of the house.

Then we went shopping at the out door mall in Salt Lake. Not quite sure why since it was so COLD and rainy. But it was still fun.

There was a cool fountain there that we were all playing in.

I liked the picture of the statues because the lady on the right had a name tag that said Jake. Even though you can't tell in the picture i just thought it was funny.

On the way home we stopped by the Arches. It was cool! So i had to get a picture of me with it. I think it turned out pretty good.

This guy is the hobo friend that we made at Olive Garden. haha

Smile!

Tonight I went to Best Buy to buy a CD when I came across this camera. No it's just not a normal digital camera...
This camera detects smiles. When someone in the picture smiles it can tell and takes the picture.

It is so cool. They had one on display with a TV and me and my friends kept trying it out. I'm sure we looked pretty funny standing there in front of it making funny faces to see if it would detect our smiles. It really works, if you don't believe me go check it out yourself. It really amazed me and if i had $300 I'd go buy one myself! hah i wish..
