Sarah's 30th

Last Saturday I went to Pagosa Springs for my friend Sarah's birthday. We went on a hike called the four mile hike to a beautiful waterfall. We had tons of fun talking, laughing and hiking together. I haven't ever spent time in Pagosa but it was super pretty. I want to take Reed with me next time to go camping. Anyways, here are some pictures of our super cool trip.

 3-0 for Sarah's 30th birthday.

Bike ride with the hubs

      The other night Reed decided he needed to take me on a bike ride. He insisted we go on this long trail that I've never been on before. I didn't think I was ready because 1. I haven't had my bike too long and I'm not that confident yet and 2. I'm still not in as good of shape as I'd like to be but... I gave in and went anyways. I'm not gonna lie it was tough but was it worth it? Yes, I felt good after and was proud of myself. Reed was patient with me and pushed me and waited at the top of each hill for me and told me how good I was doing.

      It made me so grateful for the husband I have. One who constantly pushes me to be better, who doesn't let me just do whatever makes me feel comfortable but constantly encourages me to do my best whatever it is. Not just with things like biking either. He honestly makes me a better person physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. That's what marriage should be all about. Helping, pushing or even sometimes for me it takes shoving, someone to be better. I'm so grateful I found that perfect man for ME that will wait at the top of each hill I may climb and encourage me up and and telling me I'm doing good and I'm gonna make it. I love being married to my best friend.

Update

Immediately after our sweet, long, amazing, refreshing vacation we started our corn roasting season at Riverfest. It was the worst weekend of my life and I'm not even joking. The wind was miserable but we survived and sold all our corn.
Reed and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on May 30th. Yes we have been married for 3 years crazy huh! I guess time flies when you're having fun and it sure has. Our trip was supposed to be our anniversary present but Reed knew how much I've wanted a mountain bike so he got me this sweet jesse for our anniversary. I'm the cheap wife that didn't get him anything, but hey it was him that didn't follow the rules.
Even though we have been working our butts off with corn roasting and my job and yes I'm taking summer classes on top of that we are still having fun. Last week we took our jeep to choke cherry to watch the sunset.
Last week we kicked off our summer play in the river. Well Reed did anyways it was still a bit too chilly for me.
 I came home from work the other day to find these bad boys in my windows. Reed spent his day off making window planters. I didn't even know I wanted them but I do now! He is so random but I love it and I love him.

One of my best friends from high school, Missy got married last weekend and I was able to go to her reception here. I don't know why its so crazy that my friends are all getting married now when I've been married for 3 years. I guess I just think I'm the only one who gets to be grown up, but I'm so happy for her.
{This picture is of me, Missy and Hillarie. We grew up in the same ward and graduated together.}

I've been riding my bike every chance I get. Last night I went on a ride by myself because everyone was busy but it was fun and I'm starting to get more confident to go faster.
As you can see we are keeping ourselves busy but we love the summer and try to spend as much time as we can outdoors. Its gonna be a good summer!
