Repelling

Wednesday night we went repelling in Choke Cherry Canyon. It was my first time but Reed is pretty much a pro.

It was a little bit scary at first...

and my knees were shaking at the top.

But was way fun in the end!

My Handy Husband

I like to read a lot, so Reed decided that he would build me a bookshelf to put all my books I have.

He didn't want any help from anyone, even though he has NO building experience whatsoever. I kept telling him there was plenty of people that would love to help him, but he just kept refusing and insisted he was doing this ALL on his own.

I'm not gonna lie I doubted him, BUT he did a way good job and surprised me when I came home from work one night.

He even stained it for me and everything and it looks way good! He loved doing it so he wants to build me more stuff. Yay me!

Vallecito Lake

Reed and I decided to go camping for the Holiday weekend by Vallecito Lake.

We went for a little walk and Reed insisted that he wore his pajamas so he was comfortable, don't ask I know he's crazy.

We had dutch oven dinner yumm it was the best!

We took the boat out on Saturday and just chilled. It was WAY too cold for me to get in the water but Reed did a couple times.

Exhausted and sunburned (well just me) after a long day we waited for the fireworks to come.
Its just not the 4th of July without a little fireworks..

No Pin Heads Here!

If you don't remember, back in the beginning of March Bill O' Reilly mentioned us on his show for the whole engagement story. Yeah he called my husband a pin head on national tv for putting my engagement ring in my frosty, but then he called me KAREN so I think he's the REAL pin head!

Well one of our family friends is a big Bill O' Reilly fan and she just couldn't wait to give us this rug as a wedding gift.

It's now proudly displayed in our home!
