The Today Show

We just got done with The Today Show and it was awesome!! We met Meredith right when we got there and got to meet Matt later when we were about to do the show. Everyone was so nice and just loved our story. The show went a lot easier today since we were there in the studio. Matt made us feel comfortable while doing the show and we loved every minute of it. Hope you do too!

p.s. Thanks to our producer Matt G. for everything you've done for us! He's pretty much the nicest guy in New York.

We also got to meet author David Bach in the green room.

  7. I just read your story on MSNBC.com. How funny! Although I'm sure it wasn't so funny at the time. I'm glad it all turned out well for you both. I live in Seattle and I was grumpy when "The Bachelor" stole my proposal idea -- a seaplane. But reading your story makes me realize that you guys had it much worse. I love the x-ray photo. It's classic!

  11. Great story! My husband invited a bunch of friends over for a prime rib dinner. After eating, everyone got a bag of Cracker Jacks....mine had an engagement ring inside. We were married/sealed in the Spokane Temple in 2007. He was 57 and I was 51. Romance never dies!! May you both have a wonderful life together!

  12. I just read your story on MSNBC.com. It truly made me smile.

As I read the article and saw a SLC station had picked up the story, something told me you two might just be LDS. And sure enough I was right! :) I love how those things work out sometimes.

Congrats to you two and many wishes!

  15. Kaitlin, you were so great on the show this morning. You looked great and neither of you seemed at all nervous. How fun that you got such a fun trip from it all. I heard that you got to stay an extra day because of all the snow. True?

What a fun engagement trip! And what a cute couple you make.
